About Us

The European Recycling Company collects shoes from our Banks and Stands across the UK, surplus stock and worn returns from the shoe trade.

We have been established since 1993 and are proud of our expertise in the specialised business of recycling shoes for reuse. Thousands of tonnes of used shoes are collected from our extensive network of collection points around the UK.

Our distinctive Banks and Stands can be found in Local Authority recycling sites, Supermarkets, Shops on High Streets, Schools and Leisure Centres. All these sites are utilised by the public and their generous donations are much appreciated.

Through our Recycling of Shoes and Textiles we are very proud to support the work of The Variety Club.

We operate a dedicated nationwide fleet providing an efficient logistical service targeted to have as little impact on the environment as possible.

The European Recycling Company is part of the SOEX group, one of the world's largest and efficient Shoe and textile recyclers.
